MILLENIUM 2000 - L'Odyssée de l'Espace - DU CIEL à l'ESPACE - a space odyssey. " A LITTLE STEEP. . . ""A LITTLE STEP. . ."

For this 2nd sheetlet, we have chosen a familiar framework: the Earth/Moon
system with 6 spaceships, plus the anticipation of the Japanese lunar project of a double satellite " Sélène "

The work of this fantastic complete set of 18 stamps and 3 sheetlets of Bhutan allow us to use the 4000 drawing of satellites that we have done during the last years. These same subjects will be used soon in our "ENCYCLOPéDIE DE L'ESPACE", updating the "CLASSIFICATION BY SATELLITE" from the 18th édition.

LUNAR ORBITER May 4 1967 First Satellite camera ,orbiting around the Moon, to prepares a precise Apollo map.

LUNAR PROSPECTOR 7 Jan. 1998 to July 31 1999 - Crash on the south pole of the Moon in the Mawson Crater, in order to research water on the Moon 19 months orbiting around the Moon.

APOLLO 11 July 23 1969 Command module lights its motor in order to escape gravitation from the Moon.

SELENE 2002 FUTURE - Nippon project, double probe for study of the Moon.
