The satellites were based on Yuzhnoye’s DS-U3 bus. The sun-pointed satellites were solar powered by eight deployable solar arrays. These satellites carried a suite of east European experiments to study solar ultraviolet and X-ray effects on upper atmosphere. Keyword(s) :
