autographe?: non - noneDescription : This spacecraft was in the shape of a short right cylinder less than one meter in height and diameter. One end of the cylinder was terminated with a hemispherical structure and the other with a curved surface (approximately one-quarter of a sphere). Various appendages protruded from the spacecraft. Battery power was used to eliminate electromagnetic effects from the solar cells. Attitude was not controlled, but was detected by magnetic field and optical (sun) detectors. Real or recorded data were available. The spacecraft operated for 56 days collecting data from a total of 109 orbits. The spacecraft carried an ionospheric beacon, spherical ion probes, high-frequency electron temperature probes, and Langmuir probes.
