This very rare document, produced by a passionate philatelist and privileged witness of this event, is one of the great classics of the Astrophilately theme.
The cat Felix returned from her trip in good health, and even had healthy offspring after her flight. This cat is a true ASTRONAUT because her flight took her to an apogee of 167km far beyond the Karmann line (86-100 km) which conventionally separates atmosphere from space. The feline took 9G of acceleration at the start and reached a speed above Mach 6. On the way back, the parachute deployed optimally. The electrocardiograms and encephalograms have not been made public by CNES. video
